JCB Uttoxeter, Masterplan

Winner of RIBA international competition, mixed-use regeneration Masterplan reintegrating the 22acre/9ha Bamford Works former factory site with the Town Centre (where JCB began in 1945) as a legacy for Lord Anthony Bamford, whose family ties to Uttoxeter span 200 years.

“It has always been my intention that this development leaves a legacy to Uttoxeter given my family’s long association with the town and this site in particular. I really think this will put the heart back in Uttoxeter town centre.”
