Two permanent bridges join to form a soaring ‘ribbon’ arch, defining an enduring place at the heart of the Olympic Park. Between them a temporary public piazza is created for the period of the Games by five movable bridges which afterwards become legacy gifts, helping connect and regenerate surrounding areas.
