The Westminster Council has approved the expansion which includes the restoration and raised reintegration of two large historic rooflight spaces and hidden for over 40 years decorative plasterwork.

Facilities include: cinema theatres, banqueting hall, multipurpose event/exhibition spaces, members’ bar, restaurant and club, meeting rooms, administration and staff offices.

The proposals enhance BAFTA’s identity as an international centre of excellence for motion picture arts, and balance members’ needs with extra revenue generation to ensure long-term financial sustainability for the charity.
