Following on from our two year anniversary celebrations, we went to Rome for our annual office trip and visited our recently completed project Terni Train Station and Bridge and met with the new Mayor of Terni and Client.
The landmark 180 metre bridge facilitates for Terni’s urban expansion by linking station improvements for faster trains to Rome and becoming a gateway marker for Umbrian tourism. The tower and structural ‘halos’ are visible from the mountains, ring road and historic town. The sculptural form, materials and construction approach draw on Terni’s steel-making industrial heritage.
Renato Benedetti, board member of the Hatton Garden Business Improvement District, gave an interview during the Hatton Garden Party 2018 about all things architecture and the hidden gems of Hatton Garden and the surrounding area.

Castleford Footbridge celebrates its 10 year anniversary this July!
Multi-award winning 130m long pedestrian bridge creating new public spaces as the first phase in Castleford Bay waterfront regeneration Masterplan. Design and construction process featured in Channel 4 TV documentary.
The design championed by the community with a wide stakeholder consultation took 5 years to build and has won many prestigious awards throughout the years.
We are delighted to be shortlisted for two New London Awards! for Connock and Lockie in Lamb’s Conduit Street. The two shortlisted categories include Conservation & Retrofit and Retail. The results will be announced on 4th July.
Benedetti architects has been appointed for the new £35 million Great London Authority’s Architecture and Urbanism Panel (ADUP2) Framework for Transport Design which runs until 2022.
Following an international design competition in 2012, Terni Bridge and Station, a new 180m footbridge and railway station designed by Benedetti Architects in the Italian city of Terni, officially opened on Monday 29 January.

Benedetti Architects have submitted outline planning permission for the revised scheme of a new mixed-use regeneration development in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire which is currently a derelict site, to deliver new homes, a new park and 1000m2 of commercial space.
A public consultation will take place on 28 October 2017 in Uttoxeter to showcase the development’s updated masterplan.
